Terms & Conditions

A clear foundation for using DAAB.

Last updated: 12 October 2026

01About these terms

Daab is a video review service for creative teams: you upload video, collect feedback from your team and your clients, and run AI review against your brand guidelines. The service is provided by DAAB INC, a Delaware corporation, 8 The Green, Suite 5445, Dover, DE 19901, United States ("Daab", "we", "us").

These terms are the agreement between Daab and the person or organisation that uses the service ("you"). They cover the app at space.daab.app, this website and any related service we provide. You accept them when you create an account, start a subscription or use the service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

If you use Daab for a company or other organisation, you accept these terms for that organisation and confirm that you are allowed to do so. The service is for business and professional use. You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account.

If you and Daab have signed a separate written agreement for the service, that agreement applies where it differs from these terms.

02Accounts and orgs

Give accurate details when you sign up and keep them up to date. Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and you must tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used it.

Work in Daab is organised into orgs and workspaces. The owner and admins of an org decide who its members are, what each member can do, and what happens to the content in it. If you join an org as a member, its owner and admins can see and manage the content you add there and can remove your access.

You can invite people outside your org to view and comment through a share link, with or without a Daab account. You decide who receives a link, whether it has a password and when it expires. Anyone who has a working link can use the access it gives, so share links with care and revoke the ones you no longer need. You are responsible for how the people you invite use the service.

03Plans, trials and early features

Daab is offered on a Free plan and on paid plans. What each plan includes, such as seats, storage and AI review time, is set out on our pricing page and in the app at the time you subscribe. Enterprise plans are agreed with us in writing.

We may set limits on the Free plan, including how many free workspaces one person can own, and we may change or withdraw the Free plan on reasonable notice.

If a paid plan starts with a free trial, we tell you how long it lasts before you start. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the paid subscription begins and your payment method is charged.

We may offer features that are labelled beta, preview or early access. They are provided as they are, may change or be removed at any time, and are not covered by the commitments in section 11.

04Your content

"Your content" means everything you and the people you invite put into Daab: videos and their versions, comments, annotations, attachments, brand guidelines, logos and other brand assets.

Your content stays yours. We claim no ownership of it. You give Daab permission to host, copy, transcode, analyse, display and transmit your content only as needed to provide the service to you, to keep it secure, and to meet our legal obligations. This includes processing it with the AI review features you choose to run and showing it to the people you share it with. We do not alter your content, make new works from it or publish it. The permission ends when the content is deleted from our systems as described in section 8.

We do not sell your content, and Daab does not use it to train AI models.

You are responsible for your content. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload it and to have it processed as described here, including from your clients and from any person who appears or is heard in it, and that it does not break the law or another person's rights.

Daab is a review tool, not an archive. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.

05AI review

AI review compares your video with the brand guidelines and instructions you supply and reports what it finds as timestamped notes. It is produced by automated systems, including models run by third parties.

AI review can be wrong. It can miss problems and it can report problems that are not there. Treat its findings as suggestions for a person to check, not as a final decision. You remain responsible for approving your work and for whether it meets your brand, legal, regulatory or contractual requirements. AI review is not legal or compliance advice.

AI review uses review credits. The number of credits a review uses is shown in the app before you run it.

06Acceptable use

You must not, and must not let anyone else:

  • upload or share content that is unlawful, that infringes someone else's rights, or that sexually exploits or endangers children;
  • upload malware or try to break, overload or get around the security or limits of the service;
  • access accounts, orgs or content that you have no right to access;
  • resell, rent or sublicense the service, or use it to run a service for others, except to review work with your own clients;
  • copy, reverse engineer or decompile the service, except where the law gives you that right regardless of these terms;
  • scrape the service or use automated means to access it other than through interfaces we provide for that purpose;
  • use the service or its output to build or train a competing product or model;
  • create several accounts or free workspaces to get around plan limits;
  • use the service in breach of export control or sanctions law.

We may remove content or suspend access where we reasonably believe these rules have been broken. We will tell you when we do, unless the law prevents it.

If you believe content on Daab infringes your copyright, send a notice to hello@daab.app with enough detail for us to find the content and confirm your rights.

07Fees, credits and taxes

Paid plans are billed in advance for each billing period through our payment provider. A subscription renews automatically for the same period at the price then in effect until you cancel it. You authorise us to charge your payment method for each period and for any credit packs you buy.

Each plan includes review credits for each month. Included credits do not carry over: unused credits end with the month or billing period they were given for. On eligible plans you can buy extra credits in packs. Pack credits can be used for 12 months from purchase and then expire. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred between orgs. Our records of credits granted and used are the record that counts. We may change how many credits a feature uses; a change applies only to reviews started after we announce it. Unused credits are lost if we end your account because you broke these terms.

Prices do not include taxes. You are responsible for sales tax, VAT, GST and similar taxes that apply to your purchase, which we add to your invoice where we are required to collect them.

We may change our prices. For a subscription you already have, a new price applies from your next renewal, and we give you at least 30 days' notice first so that you can cancel if you do not accept it.

If a payment fails, we retry it and ask you to update your payment method. If it remains unpaid, your org moves to the Free plan.

Payments are non-refundable except as set out in our Refund Policy or where the law requires a refund.

08Cancelling, suspending and ending

You can cancel a subscription at any time from billing settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your paid plan continues until the end of the period you have paid for, and then your org moves to the Free plan. If your content exceeds the Free plan's limits, you can still view and download it but may be unable to add more until you are within the limits.

You can stop using Daab at any time and ask us to close your account or delete your org by writing to hello@daab.app.

We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if a payment remains overdue after we have reminded you, if we are required to by law, or if your use puts the service or other customers at risk. Where the problem can be fixed, we give you notice and a reasonable chance to fix it first, unless the risk is urgent.

We may close a Free plan account that nobody has signed in to for 6 months. We email the owner 30 days before and again 7 days before. Signing in during that time keeps the account open.

When an org is deleted, its content is no longer available to you and we remove it from our live systems. Copies may remain in our backups for a time. To close your account, or to ask us to confirm that an org's content has been removed, write to hello@daab.app. We may keep records we are required by law to keep, such as invoices.

Sections that by their nature should continue after the agreement ends, including sections 4, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15 and 16, continue to apply.

09Our service and your feedback

Daab and its licensors own the service, including its software, design, documentation and brand. While these terms apply, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own business within the limits of your plan. We reserve all rights not expressly given to you.

If you send us ideas or suggestions about the service, we may use them without restriction and without owing you anything.

We may compile statistics about how the service is used and how it performs. These statistics do not include your content and do not identify you, your org or any person.

We will not use your name or logo in our marketing without your permission.

10Confidentiality and data protection

Each of us may receive information from the other that is not public and that a reasonable person would understand to be confidential. Your content is your confidential information. Each of us will use the other's confidential information only to carry out this agreement, protect it with reasonable care, and share it only with staff and contractors who need it and are bound to keep it confidential. This does not apply to information that is or becomes public through no fault of the recipient, that the recipient already knew or lawfully receives from someone else, or that the recipient develops independently. A party required by law to disclose confidential information may do so, and will give the other party notice where the law allows.

We maintain technical and organisational measures intended to protect your content against unauthorised access, loss and disclosure. If we become aware of a security breach that affects your content, we will tell you without undue delay and share what we know.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Where your content contains personal information, you are responsible for it under data protection law and we process it on your behalf and on your instructions. Our Data Processing Addendum applies to that processing and is part of these terms. The companies that process it for us are listed on our Sub-processors page.

11Warranties

We will provide the service with reasonable skill and care and in line with its published description in all material respects.

Apart from that commitment, and to the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and "as available". We give no other warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or free of errors, or that AI review will be accurate or complete.

The service relies on services run by others, such as hosting, video delivery, sign-in, payments and AI models. We choose these providers with care but do not control them.

12Limits on liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for deliberate misconduct, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Subject to that, neither of us is liable to the other for lost profits, revenue, business, goodwill or anticipated savings, for loss or corruption of data, or for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive loss, however it arises and even if the possibility was known.

Subject to the first paragraph of this section, each party's total liability arising out of or relating to these terms and the service, in any 12-month period, is limited to the greater of the fees you paid to Daab for the service in that period and US$100. This limit does not apply to your obligation to pay fees or to your obligations under section 13.

Some laws do not allow certain limits. Where that is the case, the limits above apply to the extent the law allows.

13Claims by others

You will defend Daab against any claim brought by someone else that arises from your content or from your use of the service in breach of these terms or the law, and you will pay the damages and costs finally awarded against us or agreed in settlement. This applies only if we tell you about the claim promptly, let you control the defence and settlement, and give you reasonable help. You may not settle a claim in a way that places obligations on us without our consent.

Enterprise agreements may add further commitments from Daab. They apply only where a signed agreement says so.

14Changes

We develop the service continuously and may add, change or remove features. We will not make a change that materially reduces the core functions of a paid plan during a period you have already paid for without giving you the choice to cancel and receive a refund for the unused part of that period.

We may update these terms. When a change is material we tell the owner and admins of your org by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect, unless the change is required sooner by law. If you do not accept a change, you can cancel before it takes effect. Using the service after that date means you accept the updated terms. The date at the top of this page shows when the terms last changed.

15Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or the service, and each of us accepts the jurisdiction of those courts. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

Before starting a claim, each of us will first try in good faith to settle the dispute by writing to the other. Either of us may still ask any competent court for urgent relief to protect its confidential information or intellectual property.

Nothing in these terms removes rights that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be waived by agreement.

16General

These terms, the Refund Policy, the pricing shown when you subscribe and any written order or agreement between us are the whole agreement between you and Daab about the service, and replace earlier discussions about it. If they conflict, a signed agreement or order comes first, then these terms.

You may not transfer this agreement without our written consent. Either of us may transfer it to a company in its group, or to a successor in a merger or a sale of all or most of its business, by giving notice.

Neither of us is liable for a failure or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, other than an obligation to pay.

If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. We are independent contractors, and these terms create no partnership, agency or employment. No one other than you and Daab has rights under these terms.

We send notices to the email address of your org's owner or through the app. Send notices to us at hello@daab.app or by post to the address in section 1.
